Learn to manage stress and achieve a healthy balance between work and personal life at “Vibrant Well-Being: A Workshop for Mindfulness, Stress Reduction, and Work-Life Balance.” Jacqueline Huntly, M.D., MPH, will lead the workshop on Saturday, August 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mercer University School of Medicine’s Savannah campus, 1250 East 66th Street (adjacent to the campus of Memorial University Medical Center).
Mindfulness is the practice of intentionally bringing your attention into the present moment in a caring, nonjudgmental way. The workshop will introduce participants to breath awareness, sitting and walking meditation, and mindful body awareness and relaxation. They will also learn how to take a mindful approach to mindset, stress reduction, nutrition, and sleep habits.
